We are excited to announce our new site for our Jack Straub Sandestin Lions Club Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Beginning with the 2010 tournament, the new site is Sharks Tooth Golf Club (www.sharkstoothgolfclub.com). The Lion Jack Straub Annual Charity Golf Tournament is one of three main fund raisers conducted by the Sandestin Lions Club. The next tournament is scheduled for:

Tournament Facts:
- The tournament is a scramble
- Cost is $125 per person or $500 per team and includes golf fees, cart, range balls and lunch (Destin Area and Walton County Chambers of Commerce are eligible for a 10% discount).
- Hole-in-One Challenge: All players are eligible for our Par 3 Hole-in-One challenge. The main prize is $25K and the other prizes are golf trips and merchandise.
- There will be a silent auction. The list of items will be published on this site at a later date as we get closer ot the tournament.
- Mulligans will be available
- Winners will be based on total team score minus 10% of the team combined handicap.
Where Does Our Money Go That is Raised From the Tournament:
- Buy eye exams and glasses for those who cannot afford them
- Eyesight and hearing related support to those in our community that need assistance
- School scholarships (Northwest Florida College and Freeport High School and South Walton High School
- Other donations to local charities (Caring and Sharing of South Walton County and Sacred Heart Hospital)
- Donations to local/state/federal and international agencies that help the blind and hearing impaired
